Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires

After years of playing different versions of the same game, I am actually a little excited to try the new Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires game. Of all the different DW games, the Empires series has been the only I've never actually tried yet.

What is a little interesting about this game is every other store has this, but NOT Best Buy. Apparently they will get the game today or tomorrow. A little behind in the world they are. Anyway, to my surprise this game was actually sold out at the GameStop I went to (at least for the Xbox 360 version).

I think the biggest part that I am interested in here is the ability to be able to play either a ruler, an officer or a lone wolf mercenary. I'm thinking about trying to get through an entire game without siding with anyone. Just waltz onto the battlefield and start swinging is how I'm seeing it!

And it is a nice change of pace, hearing how you've got to do more in battle then just hack and slash here. During these battles, the key is to steal away the enemy bases and protect your own at the same time. Also according to what other players have said, the difficulty has been tuned up, so playing on Easy mode won't be all that easy these days.

I'm feeling I'll either enjoy the mess out of this game or go down in a swearing rage. I really don't think there will be any middle ground here. With the added touches of having to protect your lands, while invading everyone else and the choice of ruler, officer or loose cannon, makes for an interesting twist to this old formula. However which way it all goes down, it looks like I'll be headed back to ancient China once again...

Losing My Mind

Even while I sit here, being frustrated about nothing in particular, I realize that the issue with which I wrote about might offend someone. Or maybe my opinion on the matter would In any case, offended anyone was not the intention for that writing.

The point I am trying to express is simply my disgust at how quickly people flip over. In my eyes, it seems to me like people said fuck him while he was alive and now we'll all cry when he is gone. Why? Why do that now?

As far as the news stations are concerned, yes I understand it is all about ratings and money. And this issue will certain garner quite a bit of all of that in the coming days, weeks and months. I surely hope it does not end up being years too...

What The...?

Michael Jackson passes away and people everywhere are sad and mourning...

Why is this such major news right now?

Now don't get me wrong, it is sad to hear about the passing of someone as famous as Michael Jackson. He influenced a great deal of things during his life, no question about that. But if I'm not mistaken, didn't a great deal of people spend a lot of time cracking a lot of jokes about Michael Jackson and little boys? And didn't a lot of people in this world hate him so bad because of the things he was accused of?

And yet all of those issues don't matter anymore. Now it is all said and done, a non-issue as it goes these days. Now people are crying and feeling sad over this guy's death. Listen to the radio or watch some TV and you'll notice: the jokes about him are gone away! Because NOW he's a hero! Oh and NOW he was such a great and positive influence huh? What a turn around!

To top it all off, this ends up being all over these major news networks! Was he really THAT big of a deal? I mean sure he was in the process of making a comeback, but didn't he try (and fail) to do this a few years ago? If I remember correctly, he released a CD and then was nailed with yet another child molestation charge.

What I wonder is this: Could it hurt to maybe focus on some real issues? Like North Korea and their ever increasing desire to nuke us all back to the ice age? Or how about the insanity that is going on over in Iran?

Nah, that stuff is old news now! So yesterday! While yes, North Korea could blow us all up, but come on! Michael Jackson just died! And since everyone and their mom is snapping up all of his music and everything in between, you gotta know that news coverage of him will equal a fuckton of ratings! And what does ratings equal?! MONEY!

So while we wait for someone aboard one of those US ships in the Pacific to lay an ungodly fart, which will then set off the North Koreans as they will swear they were under attack by the US. This, in turn, would gain their one and only response which would be to nuke everything it can possibly reach. Now will we know when this happens?

Nope!

But at least we'll all know that Michael Jackson, at the young age of 50, who was about to make a 50 show comeback in London, has passed away. Then they'll play him and his family performing that ABC song. Again. And again. And again...

Magic and the Sequels

Wait, we're already in the month of July?! When did that pesky month sneak up in here anyhow? It is nothing short of staggering to me to know that these months have not slowed down in their passing. I could have sworn it was January the other day. It is scary to think that life is just blazing by and before long old age will have set in and I will be an old man, sharing tales of how life was so different 'back in the old days.'

Speaking of the old days, I had a little trip down memory lane recently. You see, Magic The Gathering has a new game out on Xbox Live (Magic The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers) and I just could not help myself. I had to play it!

And it plays exactly as the card game would play, nothing changed and nothing special about it. To be honest, maybe that was what drew me into the game in the first place and what kept me liking it over the years. It was not like other games, in that this game was fairly easy to pick up and it was always a bitch to try and master. Hell, I don't think anyone has yet. Surely there are good players and then there are the great ones too. But there is just way too much going on for any one player to have picked it all up. Or maybe...?

Oops, I've gone and went off the deep end again huh? Sorry.

Still, it is fun and it brought back a lot of memories of my days in middle and high school. My friends and I played damn near every chance we got, back in those days. The heated matches were always the best, especially when we'd hit up games of four players. Yes, insanity ensued. Those were the days alright... that game held it's own with us all for years, until we discovered Counter-Strike and all of that good stuff, but that's another story for another day.

A couple of other quick thoughts; it would seem that a great many games this year are going to be sequels. Two games of note (for me) would be Assassin's Creed II and Overlord II. Both look interesting and Overlord II was very much so, with what little I played in its demo.

Assassin's Creed II stands out because it looks like the developers have taken the stuff that people complained about and have taken it to heart. What I'm hoping the future holds is a demo for this game, because I'd love to see how all these new game mechanics fit into the grander scheme. Maybe it'll be more interesting then the original, which I never have finished even to this day.

But maybe that is the plight of these open world games? It is just too open and too vast to hold enough interesting stuff to hold the attention of a player. Hell I know I have issues in keeping my interest in a game like these. More recently, I've been playing through InFamous, but now I find myself feeling burnt out and uninterested. Sadly this feeling (or lack thereof) has even extended to Prototype, which I had only recently bought.

Its my hope that future games will fare better then those in the past, especially with so many sequels hitting stores this year. I enjoy these types of games and a lot of others too, but the enjoyment never lasts for me. It is so truly rare to come across any game that can hold my interest and my attention long enough to see it's ending.

So again, here's hoping games like Assassin's Creed II and Overlord II have learned from the past.

Games That Play and Finish Themselves?

There is disturbing news and then there is disturbing news and this, my friends, takes the cake. You see, apparently Nintendo has a brand new concept to help out their overwhelmingly beloved "casual" crowd.

Now if you should happen upon a game that is just too hard for you to figure out for yourself, stop thinking! Stop trying! Let the game play out that far too difficult level for YOU! Why waste time trying to defeat a boss, get past a hard puzzle, when you can just let the game play with itself (that sounds wrong) and solve everything all by its lonesome!

While I hope this is nothing more then a joke, considering that this is Nintendo and since they are aiming a lot more at people who generally don't touch games... somehow I am thinking it is all too true.

And really, what would be the purpose of the game after this? Obviously any form of challenge has just been absolved. It's like starting up Solitaire and it solves itself, all by itself. Wow, did you just enjoy yourself just then? What kind of gamers would we all be if we needed to merely rely on the game solving all of the problems and not our own god given brains?

An argument was made that this "feature" is aimed at little kids. Way to help the kids out in problem solving eh?

Oh snap! Bowser is shooting fireballs out of his mouths, his ears, his eyes and even his ass! And the Princess is in peril, Luigi is being held prisoner and it's up to Mario to figure out how to save them all, all whilst stopping Bower in the process! What ever shall we do!

SKIP IT! Too hard!

So lame...

Then again, considering the only games Nintendo seems to come out with these days are rehashed versions of Wii Sports and a ton of animal games and stuff that I think I would have killed my parents over, should they have ever tried to force me to play, I guess there really isn't anything to worry about.

Personally, my household has created a game a while back that I think Nintendo may like. Surely it doesn't mean much I suppose, in the grander scheme of things. What is my creation called you wonder? WiiStoppedPlaying! Spectacular thing, this game. A product of pure wonder it is! You see the premise is quite simple really.

The whole purpose? Why, we stopped playing! We stopped buying and now that lovely little Wii system now sits around and accumulates a lot of dust. Just like the GameCube we owned previously! Bloody genius game isn't it! And best of all, I didn't have to buy a fuckton of attachments to use it!

Ah... the wondrous power of an illness. Ever angry at everything in sight. But alas, these words are all too true. Sad really, but I suppose that is the way it will be. I guess it falls onto Sony and Microsoft to save us all from this horrible fate.

Perhaps Nintendo is destined to follow Sega into oblivion someday? Hmm...

Was I Right? Or Was I Wrong?

My original intention for this writing was to go over (again) about a few more movies I've seen in the past day or so. But with my present circumstance, I'm afraid the norm will have to be put on hold for the moment. I'm afraid the mixture of cough syrup and a severe lack of good rest have left my mind in a bit of a state. It is disappointing really, I had hoped to do some writing during this brief moment of freedom.

No, instead this writing takes a turn of a different kind and one that examines something I tend not to write about. Life or to be more precise, family. I don't generally write nor talk about my family, not because of a wanting desire of anonymity, but more because there just isn't anything to say. I have never been a close 'family' person and truth be told I spent most of my years estranged from them all.

Then a few days ago, Saturday I believe, I get a call from home. My mother. She shares with me that my 'grandmother' from my father's side of the family has passed away on her birthday of all days. The question came to be: Did I want to come home to attend her funeral?

Ah, thus the conflict began, even while I heard my voice utter the word "no."

I am not a cruel and heartless person, at least I would like to presume I am not. You see, I have not seen nor heard from anyone from this side of the family in over ten years now. Not a card nor call to be had in all of that time and to me, my relation to these people was merely by my last name. And their treatment of my dad during his last days....

Anyway, my thinking of all this was this: Considering how none of us even knew she had passed away (this happened on the 3rd), only that my mom had caught word of it from a friend of hers, who is amongst my dad's family somewhere. Even during such times, not even a call could be spared.

Interesting enough, they remembered my mom fully well when they needed money a few years ago. Lovely bunch wouldn't you say?

Sorry, the point and idea behind writing all of this was simply to spread out my thoughts before my own eyes. The funeral was today, if I am not mistaken. Should I have set aside the past and attended? Or was I justified in my anger?

Perhaps this choice I have made will be one that I'll regret for the rest of my days. Needless to say, I will spend the coming days and what thoughts I can in devotion to this. Maybe one day my question will be answered.

Was I right? Or was I wrong?

To Be Sick Again

As the title of this entry states, yes, I have gotten sick again. It is such a considerate cold too, I mean it even went as far as to wait for me to finish my shift at work and did not really start kicking in until I was having lunch on Friday afternoon. What irritates me to no end, however, is not being able to sleep, which is what I should be doing right now. Instead, Solitaire has become my best friend all over again. Not exactly an ideal way to spend a Saturday night/Sunday morning.

On the other hand, at least this has given me a little time to watch some movies.

This past Friday I got to see The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, starring John Travolta and Denzel Washington. It was a pretty good movie to me, probably the best I've seen both of these actors in a while. I am amazed how these guys haven't done more work together. They mesh on screen pretty damn well.

Speaking of John Travolta, Old Dogs (a movie he is doing with Robin Williams) looks funny along the scale of Wild Hogs. Heck, I think the same director is working on the movie, so it easy to see how it would be similar. Anyway, it looks good and funny, which always is a nice change of pace.

Along with that movie, I also got to watch a few movies that got reviewed pretty horribly form what I can remember. I watched Kingdom of Heaven and Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, which were both a lot better then I expected.

Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium is fun to watch amd what surprised me was the depth of the story. There was much more to it then just the emporium itself. It was a nice touch how each of the characters that make up the staff (Mr. Magorium included) their chance to share a part of their own stories.

If I had to describe the movie with using only one word, that word would have to be imaginative. something I think is lost on movie critics and maybe even a lot of movie fans these days. It is sad to think that the days of such movies have come and gone.

One thing about the movie that opened my eyes was how talented Natalie Portman is. Having not seen her in very many movies other then the Star Wars prequels, I though she was a little flat. But that opinion is now long gone with the wind folks. She does an awesome job here. Worlds away from her work in Star Wars.

Kingdom of Heaven was a movie I avoided in the past just because of the fact that I wasn't much of a fan of Orlando Bloom. Outside The Lord of the Rings movies, I didn't think he made very good movies at all. However, I have to give credit where it is due. He does a good job at making his character feel believeable. The same goes for the rest of this big name cast too.

And last but not least, the video games! Or at least a video game...

After hunting around at a few GameStops, I had just about given up on trying to find the recently released Prototype. To my surprise, lo and behold, Wal-Mart had the game for both Xbox 360 and PS3.

In a way, the story does feel similar to that of InFamous in that both characters had something done to them that made them into monsters or "terrorists" as it goes. And as such, both of these guys have lost their memories because of it.

To me, that is where the similarites end because from here everything splits. In InFamous, you have to choice to either save the city or drag it down further into chaos. In Prototype, Alex Mercer isn't worried so much about others. He just wants to find whom ever messed with his life and get some bloody revenge.

One difference in gameplay between the two games is Prototype's various means of getting around. You don't have to climb up the side of a building here. Instead you can run and leap your way to the top. It doesn't sound like much, but it sure does make the world seem much more open and free.

The other major difference is the level of gore and swearing. It is practically non-existant in InFamous, but not so in Prototype. Be ready for a lot of blood and a lot of swearing from the get go.

One thing I have to agree with is the senstivity of the cops and military in Prototype. It doesn't really take any effort to draw out the tanks and helicopters here. Just drop down to street level and bump a cop and ta-da! They'll be down your throat in no time!

Despite that, at the end of the day I am feeling like I should have spent the money on buying InFamous rather then Prototype. Maybe its just because I've spent more time playing InFamous. Or maybe Prototype just isn't as good as it seems? Either way, I'll surely be back here with the verdict.

Summer Cleaning

It was just one of those days today, when the urge to make changes took over and stuff changed! I'm going to try and change stuff up because its been the way it is for far too long (at least in my opinion).

And after the last few posts have been solely gaming related, I felt like a change of pace would be nice. There will be plenty of time for games, especially with everything that will be coming out for the rest of the year.

So today the doctor ordered random! Just a bunch of mixed up thinking to soothe the soul!

Anyway, pictured here is a sunrise which I happened to catch on my way to work one morning. While I'd like to think that I managed a fairly decent picture of it with my craptacular cell phone camera, I wish I had something better that morning. It was probably one of the nicest sunrises I've seen since I've lived on Oahu..

I just watched Valkyrie the other night and I think I liked it. I say that just because its a little strange to see a movie about Germany and no one really speaks a word of German during the whole film (minus the beginning). Okay, besides that, I have to say it was a pretty good movie.

I'd be lying if I expressed anything other then pure amazement when writing about the acting ability of Tom Cruise. This guy can really play just about any character can't he? I mean I laughed when I heard he was in a samurai movie years ago and then The Last Samurai became one of my favorite movies. And Tropic Thunder? He pulled off his character there too, showing a touch of comedy that he doesn't seem to do all too often.

I don't know what I'm saying?! But what I do know is the movie was good and it tells a interesting tale from World War II.

One thing that I am thankful for is for the drop in humidity lately. I was really missing that freezing cold weather we were having some months back here in Hawaii. But now it looks like everyday is a damn perfect beach day and I may break my 3+ years of not going to the beach yet.

One other thing to share...

My latest addiction comes in the form of a game called Infamous. It is like a cross between Grand Theft Auto, Assassin's Creed and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. The controls itself feel like GTA to a certain degree. It feels like Assassin's Creed because of the ability to scale damn near anything you come across (and it controls as easily and smoothly too). And it also feels like The Force Unleashed because of the electric powers. There have been many a times when I shot off a lightning bolt and felt that same rush from when throwing those Force Lightning blasts at those pesky Storm Troopers.

But besides all of that, it has a interesting story to me and it is only getting more so as more of the pieces start to come together. Progression through the game is moving along smoothly, with occasional deaths happening here and there (thanks to those bloody Reapers).

Next game I am hoping to get the chance to try out is Prototype, which looks simliar to Infamous. But rather then the lightning, you can slash, hack and impale your enemies. Who can say no to an afternoon of video game violence? I'm sure games like this make those easily offended parents shake their fists at the world and swear they'll complain to everyone from here to the moon. Poor them...

Ha!

The Future Looks Good...

As I wrote not long ago, upon reading about Final Fantasy XIV, I had wondered if there will finally be some real solo content in this new game. I was a little surprised to find that my question would not need to go unanswered for all that long.

Once again, after browsing through IGN, I happened upon a small write up that contained a few tidbits about FFXIV. Among the new info, this was said about solo versus party play:

What is the combat system like?
"The development team won't say, but it did confirm to us that... Additionally, the heavy team-play aspect of FF11 has been de-emphasized, and now exploration and battle is said to be more balanced between solo and team play. "

Needless to say, it surely seems as though I will be heading back to online gaming after all! Perhaps the days of wasted hours on short lived parties and failed attempts at quests could be at its end. One thing is for certain at this point: I am getting a little hyped up for this one!

One thing though...

While apparently the races in this new FF online will be similar to FFXI, I have to wonder what happened to the Tarutarus? Were they finally killed off? Poor little people...

UP!

I just got to see the new Pixar movie "UP" yesterday and I came away impressed and feeling more satisfied then I can recall after leaving a movie. To me, it was just that good.

I mean everything from the storytelling, to the characters and even the visual stuff. Everything fit together and it was just a fun movie to experience. I haven't seen a Pixar film I haven't liked and it amazes me each time to see that these guys are just getting better and better.

One thing I came into the movie expecting would be the opening minutes of the movie. I had read that it starts off with an emotional bang. What caught me off guard in a way was how they showed the lives of Carl and Ellie. From the time they are kids, imagining they were traversing the world in the airship of their hero, to the days when they are old and gray, it paints a quick and vivid pictures of their lives. And even while this part is but a short moment in the film, it is no less emotional and it surely pulls the heart strings.

Interesting note here: There is a part of the movie, just shortly after Carl and Russell successfully make it to Paradise Falls, which had me in tears. No, not because of a sad moment. It was because of Russell, whom began to complain about having a pains in his leg, not wanting to walk, feeling tired and having to use the bathroom, among other things.

Now what makes that scene so funny to me is because the order in which he complains, plus the tone, sounds damn near EXACTLY like my girlfriend! I was happy for her, I mean how many people get to see their family in such a popular movie? Granted it is animated, but still!

Anyway, it was/is worth seeing and I can't wait for this one to get released on disk. I think it is easy to say that this movie exceeds my past favorites (The Incredibles and Wall-E) with ease. I cannot express this enough: It is a very good movie and it tells it's story so perfectly I even forgot I was watching an animated movie.

Seriously, If you haven't seen this yet, what are you waiting for? Cartoons aren't only for kids! Now get your old butt out there and watch!

"Hey! You in the suit! Take a bath you hippie!"

Final Fantasy Mania?!

I was just about to write about how Final Fantasy VII was released on PSN, which has now successfully "forced" me to bypass Wild Arms... for now. And I happened to remember that E3 is going on right now. So giving into my natural curiosity, I went ahead and checked to see what else is happening in the crazy world of gaming. It takes but a few seconds before my eyes lock onto something that seemed so unreal to me. What did I see? I saw the picture above.

Final Fantasy XIV Online.

But before I just get insane crazy over the news, I am absolutely obligated to wonder what the game itself will be like. Is it going to be a new experience? Or is it just Final Fantasy XI by a different Roman numeral? It is my hope that there is something more for people who would rather solo, instead of having to have a group for EVERYTHING.

It isn't that I am anti-social, just more the fact that I log into the game to play. Having to sit around for hours on end for a 30 minute party was never my idea of fun.

So here's hoping that Final Fantasy XIV proves to be something better then what came before it. If it is, hell folks... you may see me return to the land of online gaming yet!

Heh... Wait, WTF?

So here I am, just sitting before my computer and mindlessly browsing through an endless sea of articles and such on all manner of gaming. Hell, E3 is on this week and there is always a ton of stuff going on in the world of gaming.

One particular article caught my eye had to do with a particularly legendary RPG. What is this I'm reading...? Final Fantasy XIII US release date confirmed?! At last! Spring 2010 you say!?? For the Xbox 360 even!! Yay... wait, what?

So the Xbox version gets the green light, while the PS3 is left in the dark (thus far). That makes me wonder aloud; whatever happened to the PS3 version? Don't fucking tell me the Xbox is going to choose NOW to start pulling ahead here...

In the end though, it makes no difference to me because I am not going to touch Final Fantasy XIII on the Xbox. Oh no, that one is solely reserved for my PS3. I don't want to put my hopes into a machine that is still liable to die at any given second. I refuse to go through yet another month of waiting while my console requires another vacation to Texas.

Yes, I am adamant about this like no other. Besides that, to me the Xbox does not really have any games now or in the near future that interest me all that much. Perhaps the exceptions would be the recently announced Left 4 Dead 2 and maybe even Halo 3: ODST. Besides that, hell... the PS3 is getting everything the Xbox is getting.

Maybe I am overly sour about the Xbox or maybe it also ties into the fact that we had to send in one of our Zune players (to Texas). Why? It died, just barely a year after we purchased it. Were we shocked?

Nope, not in the least. Believe me when I say, the lesson has been learned.

Moving Forward

I've been keeping myself busy lately, or at least I have been keeping my mind busy these past few weeks. I think that has been the only way I've been able to keep myself from just telling either sides (or both in some cases) to go to hell.

The hardest thing to deal with is actually coming from my first job, my Japanese grocery store job.

It feels damn near impossible to function in a working environment where these managers, these "adults," act as if they are still in grade school. The kind of things they do and how they think is just plain ridiculous to me. I mean in our present economy, you would think a small company who has lost pretty much all of their other stores, would pull together right? I mean that should "rally the troops together" right?

Wrong.

Instead, these people are more interested in picking sides and taking care of themselves. Who cares if we are all really the same company, I gotta make myself look better! How stupid can that be? Hey, lets divide ourselves up and bury everyone else! Gosh, what a great fucking idea!

Gah, whatever. I'm just a lowly grunt in the overall lackluster scheme of things. I intend on just getting in there, doing my job and getting the you-know-what out of there. I hate work place politics... always have and always will. Yeah I know with an attitude like that, I will never be promoted anywhere. But if that is truly the only way to play the game, then screw it all anyway...

See why I've been keeping myself occupied? Anyway, I've been doing what I enjoy in playing games and watching movies. There have been some pretty good movies out there lately!

In my opinion, a good comedy to watch is Paul Blart: Mall Cop. It is funny, but nothing outrageous and overly stupid which works out great here. I like Adam Sandler's movies and even the stuff that his own production company makes have been pretty good too.

Another funny and good comedy is Bride Wars, which has one of my favorite actresses (Anne Hathaway) playing one of the lead roles. Then again, both she and Kate Hudson were awesome here. They played the roles of best friends really well, I mean I would have swore these women had really been best friends outside of the movie. Maybe they are?

Anyway, it definitely made for a much more believable and realistic story. But where the fun starts is when the shit hits the fan and they duke it out for their wedding dream. The kind of stuff that they do to each other, man I can't imagine how a pair of people could be friends after then hell they unleash.

One more movie: Angels & Demons. It was a good movie and while I don't remember the first movie all too well now, I did have a little problem with this one. To me it was like watching an extended version of CSI. I mean the so called "mystery" gets solved by the end and it is amazing to me how easily the clues just fall out of the sky and gets pieced together.

If nothing else, it made me wonder how these secrets could remain as such for all that time? I mean once one clue appeared, man they just kept piecing them together and everything just fell into place. Surely Tom Hanks's character couldn't have been smarter then everyone that lived for the past 300 years, right?

Onto the video games or game I should say, because I have been hellbent on finishing off my created fighter's UFC career. And I can say at last that is is all over now.

Apparently, whether you've won or lost, in 7 game years you are forced into retirement. The "athletics commission" has ruled that your fighter has taken enough punishment to warrant your retirement. As such, you are informed that once your contract is up, the commission will not allow you to fight anymore then that and that means you are done forever.

What a lousy way to end my perfect 31-0 career. And as the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion of the world no less!

But that is the way it all comes to an end, with as little fanfare as you came into the sport with. And what does my fighter have to show for it? A lame glass trophy with his face on it! Then again that should mean something because that glass trophy proves that old Johnny boy was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame! Wow, but you guys are throwing me out...?

I wonder if that is how the real UFC operates too? Thanks for getting punched in the face and for pounding down every single fighter we have ever put before you! You are a legend! Anyway, here's your trophy and good bye!

Regardless, it was a good and legendary run for old Johnny "The Fury" Haze. With a name like that, he could easily make a hell of a run in pro wrestling! Ha! Eat that UFC!

I'm losing it, it referring to my old noodle of a brain me thinks. One last thought of sanity before I lose it all: Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete comes out on Tuesday for us US folks! I wonder if it will also come with a FFXIII demo? But with our luck as US fans, probably not huh?

Now that would be lame...
