I don't really feel like focusing this entry on any one particular subject. Ok, so that's basically how all of these writings has been, but I think today will be a little different then the norm. Hmm... maybe I don't know what the hell I'm talking (typing) about...Anyway...
Watched the entire first season of Inuyasha, as well as four movies based on the series. Truthfully, I didn't take too much into this because when I first saw this, it wasn't long after watching the series ending of Ranma 1/2 and I was absolutely bombed by it. Just totally wasn't happy at all with how that ended (was looking for the happy ending I guess!).
Well, I am glad I took a second look at Inuyasha, because I've found myself getting into it. Still has humor like Ranma 1/2 (dare I say it's better written??), but it feels like its a lot better played out in Inuyasha since there are a good circle of characters to keep the balance between humor and serious. The action in this is definately a lot better too.
Only down side to all this is the fact that I cannot afford to buy the second and third seasons of this any year soon! So... so very sad...
Moving along...!
We got our cable internet back for a few days, been trying like a mad man to get everything squared away before it goes buh bye again.
Yes, that also means my Final Fantasy XI characters have now officially been canceled. So now at the end of the month, they'll disappear from the world of Vana'diel for three real time months and, if I do not return, then it's adios to my Elvaan forever. I was a little sad to do it, I mean this game has been a part of my life for a little over two years now and to just suddenly have to do this, it was a hard. Kinda. I did need to take this break, maybe things will be better in a month or three.
Watched Jackass the Movie last night on Comedy Central. Those guys are really... messed up to say it nicely.
Disgaea 2 plays has slowed down some, just because I haven't been able to actually sit down and level up my characters without wanting to stand up and run away. Hmm. Could this really be old age sinking in!?? NEVER!!! I do like Etna a lot better this time around though, she certainly is a lot stronger that's for sure. Still haven't run into Flonne or Laharl yet though... bum bum buuuuum!
I got to read up on a review for Final Fantasy XII and man... that game looks (and sounds) great! I hope it lives up to the hype that it has been getting. I mean I've read that a great many of the boss fights are gonna be insane and drawn out fights, something I personally have been hoping for for a long time. Was anyone else disappointed that Vegnagun (of Final Fantasy X-2) was such a push over? I know I was. Considering that was a planet destroying weapon, whodathunkit that it was actually a piece of **** you could destroy so easily? Anyway, I really really can't wait for this one (Final Fantasy XII that is) to get released...!
Haven't see as much wrestling on TV lately, but I do catch TNA every few weeks. I thought they were pretty good before, but now... what happened!? Now when I tune in I feel like I'm watching WWE Castaways, not TNA Wrestling. Still, there are a very few things that still draw me back in to watch their show. Sure was nice to see AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels get a win without getting absolutely destroyed by LAX. They made great rivals/enemies in the X-Division, but they sure do make an awesome tag team too. Need an example? I thought it was very cool to see Christopher Daniels hit his B.M.E., then AJ Styles following up with a D-Lo Brown-like Frog Splash.
I got to read parts of Shawn Michael's biography a little while back, and I have to say that it is definately a interesting read. I think I did what anyone that picked up the book would do and that's search out for the Montreal screwjob. After reading through that, I can only wonder what Bret Hart's side of this, I mean his thoughts and what not. I know he did that documentry that gave a small fraction of it, but I am somewhat curious...
Anyway, that's it and that's all for now. Back to searching for something productive to do.....
