Fullmetal Alchemist, Among Other Things...

I picked up watching the Fullmetal Alchemist series the other day, and although I have already seen the series... I still get hooked into the story as if I hadn't seen it before.

One aspect of the story that I find so interesting is the Alchemist themselves. It seems that those that had a good heart were all struck by some deep rooted tragedy. Take for instance, Roy Mustang (pictured to the right).

On the outside, he was confident and cool and he always seemed to have plan. On the inside was entirely a different story. He was constantly haunted by what he did during the Ishbal rebellion. It seems as though his turning point arrived when his close friend (Maes Hughes) was murdered.

I guess I could go on about this forever, but what would the point be in that? Why... I could be spending this time writing about... oh... maybe Disgaea 2 again?

Almost 10 hours in and just got around to unlocked the Sinner class. They seem pretty good, just having issues on keeping the poor bastard alive. I forget that a level 1 character against a level 5 equals... well, death.

I do like the job class of Thief, they have a gitty/psycho laugh and they aren't all that bad on ijn battle. I like them a lot better then I did the Ranger/Geomancer from the first game (Whom I *accidently* killed on numerous occasions). Funny thing is, my healer is the highest leveled character so far... (Adell is level 11 and she is level 13 or so)

On a non-gaming/anime/yadda yadda basis, I have also begun to write again. The ideas just struck the *beep* outta me the other day (while watching Fullmetal Alchemist...) and I just started typing my life away. Will it be the story I finally see to it's end? So far, I think it is safe to say that it is... then again, I've started a great deal of stories and yet never saw them to their respective ends. Probably because I ended up not "feeling it" as time went on. Oh well.

I guess that's that for today. If not, I'll be back for a second post. Or third. Or forth. Hmmm....
