Like the title states, this is the second day that I've managed to get on here with absolutely no ideas on what to write about. Is this a problem? Nah, it really isn't I guess. More like just the usual signs of boredom that haven't struck me in the last several days.Ok, with that out of the way... What now huh? Hmmm... Well, I guess I could throw out a fair number of lines that would be dedicated to a bunch of mindless, meaningless bull. But what would be the point in that eh? If anyone bothered to come here and actually read this stuff, I don't think he/she would be fond of such an idea. No...
I guess (yes, a lot of guessing done here folks) I could start off with how I spent yesterday. I basically spent it in front of the television, watching Lethal Weapon 1 & 2, as well as Braveheart. Good stuff all around there folks, despite whatever Mel Gibson is up to these days.
Oh and attempted to watch Star Wars Episode 3 again. I think I got about a 30 minute eye full before I went down for the count (damned movie put me to sleep!). Is that bad? Now don't get me wrong, I didn't think that movie was the worst thing to ever hit the screen (I'll leave that for X3). To me, the scene that made watching those 3 movies worth it was at the end where Anakin fought against Obi-Wan Kenobi. Student verses Teacher. Awesome action, which they had more great action like that prior to the final movie.
Ok, and I think it is safe to admit that my previous comment about X3 was a little cheap. I'll admit that I did enjoy the movie to a certain degree, because I'd be a big fat liar to say that I didn't. I enjoyed the fact that X3 pushed much more action then the previous 2 movies combined. I enjoyed the fact that Magneto was actually a ruthless son of a bitch. I did not enjoy to see them finally bring Angel in... For a scene that really doesn't do a damn thing for the story unfolding. If there is an X4, I do hope that Angel (or maybe Archangel...?) won't be wasted. I also did not enjoy seeing X3 transform into Wolverine the Movie. I mean, they killed Cyclops off so Wolverine could have at it with Jean!? I think that also came as a shocker in that theater... The fact that basically the entire leadership of the X-Men was killed off and so easily too for that matter.
And there was more movie talk then I have ever written about before. Quite a feat, but with that out now... What next? Oh man, the stresses... The pressures!
No, I'm not a drama lover.
As pictured above, that would be one of my favorite actresses, Keira Knightley. I like her, I think she is a very versatile actress. I mean just take into consideration that she can easily do a movie such as King Arthur or Pirates of the Caribbean and then turn around and do a movie like Bend it like Beckham or The Jacket. Other reason for this? Well, I'll gladly take any opportunity to post a picture of her...! lol
My second favorite actress would be Kate Beckinsale. I thought she did a pretty good job with Pearl Harbor (though the love story in that mess was... Well... A mess). Like Keira Knightley, I liked Kate Beckinsale because of her versatility. I liked her in Serendipity, but I also surprised to see that she could do (quite convincingly) a vampire in the Underworld movies.
Last subject to write on before calling it quits for the day would be the news that the Crocodile Hunter, Steven Irwin, passed away recently. I always thought the guy was nuts, seeing as I'd never see anyone so willingly jump on the back of a massive crocodile and still manage to keep a smile on their face. Now that, ladies and gents, that is a man that loved his work. Such a terrible lost, he will be missed.
Well, I think that was a fairly productive post for a guy who hasn't had a fair number of interesting writing topics so far. I know, my blog lacks in comparison to others. But believe me when I say, this beast is just starting to get warmed up. I'll take any chance to write, so chances are that you will see me writing here for as long as humanly possible.
