All Sorts of Thoughts

I haven't been too on the ball this month, in terms of actually posting and what not. It just cannot be helped at this point, I mean I feel as though I wrapped up in just too many different things right now and my brain is a scattered mess!

Which is what this post will resemble, a host of random thoughts that have just been waiting to burst out into the world. I hope I don't lose any brain cells in the process, I don't think I really have that many left to spare to be quite honest.

So things at work didn't turn out as bad as I was expecting (my boss took the news of my new job a lot better then I thought he would) and so now everything is pretty much on track now. Now I just need to deal with the new job jitters...

And holy shit folks! Final Fantasy XIII is coming to XBox 360!? Is that even possible? Maybe now I won't need to pick up that PS3 like I thought I might.

Speaking of Final Fantasy, FFIV is impressive in my book. I have to give it credit, I mean it is a RPG on the DS WITH voice acting! That isn't anything to sneeze at, not when it is a game for something that isn't a PSP. What I like even more is the feeling of how the story (and characters) has been given a real chance to flesh itself out. And you know me, I love a good story... (bonus points for being a better story & for being FFIV).

What stunned me even more so was the revelation of Chrono Trigger coming to the DS as well. Those fine, fine folks at GameStop almost had me reserving it too, if it weren't for the gay guy and his little attitude, head shaking bit.

Now don't take that last statement the wrong way now, I by no means have any resentment or any negative feelings or opinions about them. But don't try to sell me something while shaking your head around like that! And he didn't even add in the finger snaps at the end either! But all jokes aside, it did bother me and so the reservation was a no go. If you want me to buy something, the bottom line is you'd better tell me straight or else I ain't buying a damn thing.

Jumping games, I like Civilization Revolution. I really do. But what I don't like is how the game comes to an end not long after you reach 2000 A.D. There have been many a times when I (along with a few other civilizations) were built up like a mutha and was about to unleash hell on earth. And then it announces you've got 5 turns left.

Two words: Heart. Breaking.

One last quick thought before I get the fudge out of this place. Victoria. I now have her pictured above in my profile, as a means to show support for her this year, as I believe she has a strong chance at becoming WWE Smackdown's next Divas Champion.

I like Michelle McCool and all and I'm sure she will make a great champ over on the "Blue Brand." But I have to go with the "Psycho Bitch" any day. She can take that title away at a moment's notice and I'd love to see her go one on one with Beth Phoenix too. She (Victoria) did break Phoenix's jaw a year or so ago I believe and that could be a heck of a foundation for a cross-brand war.

But that is just a thought... ^^
