There are a great number of things that I thought I had figured out by now. I mean I know there are some things that are just a given, right? But who would have ever believed there could be so much drama and headache at a grocery store? I thought I had seen and heard it all, but I'll be damned folks, there was more crap to be heard.
And all of the headaches is being caused by really only one person (my boss), who just cannot adapt to change at all. Tack on the fact that he can't deal with stress all that well and you can imagine trying to work around a guy like that. He just goes on and on about how the "good old days" used to be and how he would just love to end his life today.
Make no mistake, I do believe suicide is a serious issue and I would not want to see anyone having their life end that way. Life can get difficult, but I don't think anything is worth ending your life over, especially not a grocery store job. But in the case of this person in question, how do take seriously a person who uses that line every other week? Brother man uses it to kick start his own pity party so often, I think we all just kind of ignore it.
That was the key to survival for a good while, ignoring it or him to be more precise. But now that that is failing, his ranting and all is just getting flat out annoying. He is supposed to be a grown man and there he is, acting the part of a 14 year old who just can't change with times.
All I know is if this keeps up, he won't have to worry about taking himself out. I'll gladly do that for him...
