Wow, talk about a little news that turns out to be a real eye opener. Feeling a strange desire to read up on what's happening in gaming, I came across a very interesting and almost unreal article. Now I thought this just happened out of the blue, but apparently it did not. So yes, I realize that I am a little late to this party, but I just read about Square-Enix sealing the deal on acquiring Edios.
At first I wondered if maybe this was some sort of belated April Fools joke, but who in their right mind does that at the end of the month right? So there I was, sitting before this very computer and just in a little be of awe at the news. Maybe dumbfounded would be more proper descriptive word for this? Yes, I think my jaw might have hit the table at least once.
It just sounds so surreal to me to think that Lora Croft and Cloud Strife are all under the same umbrella now. It actually has me wondering if maybe I'll actually play a Tomb Raider game for the first time in the not-so-distant future? Hmm...
