Lazy Day

I'm going to start out this blog a little different then the norm, since I've signed up for this new Blogger beta and all. With the change in appearance, I think it would be a good idea to actually try and write this with a bit more effort then I had done before. I also seem to have a habit of starting posts out with a picture and so that continues. The above is a picture of Jeff Hardy just before the Cyber Sunday PPV. I thought it was a cool picture and hell, it sort of matches with the title of this particular blog post so... yeah, there it is.

I have to say first off, since he has already been mentioned, is that I was a little surprised to read about Jeff Hardy's return to the WWE. Surprised that he basically appeared out of nowhere and got right in the face of then-champion, Edge. But I guess I shouldn't have been, I mean unlike Kurt Angle, Hardy didn't go out and bash the WWE whenever he got the chance. In any event, I hope he has rediscovered the passion he had lost.

I also still believe that one of the best Jeff Hardy matches I have ever seen was his ladder match against the Undertaker. Like he also commented about the match in the WWE's magazine, I also wonder then, considering he had not put his best effort into it, what that match would have been like should he have?

On a gaming note, still going at it with FFXII and its just a blast each time. For a while, I believed that maybe it was me and not the games that were going down hill. Now I know that answer for certain. Still, it is a little saddening to know that so many titles that were once great, are slowly falling apart (Suikoden for example).

Also picked up the latest in the SD! vs Raw series and I have to admit (as the small comment on the random ten might imply) that I was more then slightly disappointed with it. I cut into my FFXII time to give this thing a go and to see that so much of it is merely reused from last year... ugh...

For example, the wrestlers themselves. I had hoped that they would have at least improved the character models over last year (as they had been doing with each year prior). It shocked me to see the exact models used again, with the exception of maybe a change in ring attire. One word to sum this up: Lame.

I'm so glad that the packaging no longer states that the create-a-wrestler is better then before, because if it had... I think I would have thrown the game away. What happened to this feature? It used to allow so much freedom and now... now I'm wondering if the mode should be renamed to create-a-very-funny-and-stupid-looking-wrestler. Don't get me wrong, I can understand the use of it if you want to create a funny looking guy, but to leave that as basically the only option? Come on....

I could go on and on and I probably would too, but then what really is the point of it? I could threaten to never buy the game again, but really, it seems that it will be the case. I don't intend on spending $500 for a PS3, so it seems like this will likely be the last SD! vs Raw game I will experience. What a craptacular way to end that...

Onto matters of life. What? I have a life!?? Of course! Somewhere...

Anyway...

Work is great and then it sucks. Then its great and then it sucks. Why must it go up and down so much? Such is the ways of life I guess, but really. I should hope that this cycle breaks down much sooner then later. Believe me, I wouldn't complain in the least should I suddenly experience a week upon week of good days.

Looking into cell phones. Wow, those few words alone make it sound like I've been living in a cave or something. Anyway, yeah the search has begun and I am a little sad to see (and know) that those no contract, pay-as-you-go phones are just as expensive as a regular cell phone or even a regular phone for that matter. So now I am not sure... maybe it would be wiser to go with a regular cell...?

Side note: Dial-up stll sucks.

If there is one day of the week which I favor most, it would unquestionably be Sundays. Why? Because to me, its the day where I can be lazy and I would never feel guilty about it. I don't go to church, I don't go out for a Sunday drive. Its just the atmosphere of the day, its so laid back and peaceful.

Well I think I am finally out of things to write or at least maybe I am falling victim to this lazy day and am quickly wanting to stop this effort-forcing thing called typing. I think it is incredible that I dragged my lazy ass here to sign up for the new Blogger and even post. I sure hope hell hasn't frozen over or the sky comes crashing down because of this.

Anyway, more again later... hopefully before the month ends. I'm sure I'll find something much better to bitch and complain about by that time.
