Distant Worlds II: More Music From Final Fantasy

After being blown away by the first CD, I was more then eagerly anticipating the release of a second CD. Embarrassingly enough, I forgot that the CD was going to be digitally released on May 1st and today my brain just clicked. Hey! New CD! Where?!

And that has lead me back to the Distant Worlds site, which to my surprise has links to full tracks off of the CD. As if I needed to preview this to know how awesome it was, I still went ahead and listened in. Verdict? AWESOMENESS. Is that even a word?

But really, what else can I say about this music? I thought the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra did an awesome job the first time around and this second time through is absolutely no exception. I love the choice of music too, as a number of favorites made it here (Zanarkand, Ronfaure, Suteki da ne,The Man with the Machine Gun, A Place to Call Home - Melodies of Life)
and they really made the music all that much more memorable.

Above I've placed the player to one of these tracks, as also mentioned as one of my favorites, Zanarkand from Final Fantasy X. Check it out!
