Final Fantasy IV... AGAIN

While I have been playing this game for most of my life it seems (SNES, PS1, GBA), I must admit that I am still thrilled to see this thing being "remade." So yes, I am a sucker for it and I am making people rich because of it... but still!

I remembered reading about it a while back, but tonight is the very first time I've seen any videos of it. And let me just say this...

It looks freakin' awesome!

But it gets me to wonder now and I mean seriously take a few moments of lifetime here and really think. When will Chrono Trigger ever get the love it rightfully deserves? Maybe if it gets renamed to Final Chrono Trigger Fantasy, maybe then it will be remade or re-released?

Oh well, maybe someday in the (hopefully) not-so distant future. If not, DAMN YOU SE!!! (Heh, that last line reminds me of my FFXI days). JP ONRY!!

Or, as one of my friends on there would love to say, CHOCOBO ONRY!

I think I'm *very* slowly beginning to miss that game too. Then again, there are a million games coming out this month that looks interesting to me. So I guess the online FF will just have to take the backseat and wait just a long while longer.

I've been playing the Japanese one. It's AWESOME. Supposedly, they made the battles slightly harder, but I haven't noticed. I think people are just spoiled lately by games like Blue Dragon. Anyway, I'm at the point right after Tellah casts Meteor... =( So I'm on my search for the dark crystals. They've added some story and whenever you go to the menu, depending on who you have as your active character on screen, you can see what they're thinking about the current situation.

I, too, want Chrono Trigger to be re-released on a handheld. On the other hand, though, I'm happy to play it on my Playstation, so I don't NEED a remake. I'm afraid they'd screw it up if they actually remade it...lol

I didn't care much for the PS version of Chrono Trigger. The load time was just inexcusable, I mean this is a 16-bit game on Playstation and it takes longer to load now? That's just wrong...

If anything, I would have expected it to be flawless in that regard. But I guess that would have been far too much to really expect.

You know, I had TOTALLY forgotten about the shitty load times... I have an emulator on my computer and that's where I play any SNES game I want. Virtually no load times there. :)

True. I had forgotten I had that on my comp, which I also just remembered I had been playing Eartbound until a few months ago. I really gotta get back into that game...
