One More For The Road

So I've been slacking a bit in my writing this month and for good reason. Umm... Ok, so maybe that ends up being a tiny little lie. It has been more like me being lazier then ever, not to mention I got to spend Thanksgiving sick for most of my time away from work.

But besides a small bout of sickness, Thanksgiving was nice and quiet for us this year (as it usually is). My girlfriend cooked up a mean turkey, which has been so for the past 3 years and counting.

I think I'm keeping this thing short and sweet, since Blogger helped me butcher the last 2 entries of mine. All in all, I suppose life is going pretty OK. My legs are killing me right now and I'm afraid this will lead back to the knee pains I had a few weeks back.

No, this pain isn't relevant with age.

Ah hell, so long as my hands can still hang onto a game controller, I think I'll be OK.

Speaking of which, I wish I wasn't feeling so tired that I don't even feel like turning my XBox on tonight. And we're talking Assassin's Creed here! Yes, I am still enjoying the game and it's killing. The story telling isn't too shaby still, either. I just wish I could "read ahead" in both halves of the storyline. Maybe I'll write this out better in the very near future...

Well, my other option is to watch (again) a Korean drama by the name Winter Sonata. I think it is still safe for me to say that this is the only series that I have watched and enjoyed, more often then not. The few others I've watched didn't cut it for me and I usually walk away and wash dishes or something.

Me washing dishes instead of watching TV = Bad.

Whatever I end up doing, I think this will end up being my last entry for the loverly month of November. I kind of can't wait for Christmas, if only because it'll mean a longer weekend for me (hopefully). I swear, I am getting old...

lol I can't watch K-Dramas. Too much screaming. J-Dramas, on the other hand... Sometimes I'll download a whole series and watch it in one sitting. That's around 12 hours! :)

Assassin's Creed is a fun game. Not a great game, but a fun one. That's good enough for me. I started Mass Effect, which is also pretty cool, but I really want to beat Eternal Sonata and Blue Dragon first.

I tried Rock Band with my son and my best friend. That's a fun party game. I'm not a fan of the Guitar Hero series, but I can appreciate and get into the social aspect of playing Rock Band. Besides, no one ever wants to sing, so I get to do that. /cheer

I've been playing a lot of WoW lately, since our guild members are finally getting higher level. I now have 2 level 70's and I'm working on a 3rd. Only 10 levels to go...

Work has been absolute HELL. Busy, lots of people out sick, end of month...Ugh. I just want to run away screaming...lol.

What got me hooked to K-Dramas were their over-the-top drama and the fact that it seems like they enjoy having their main character(s) hit by various vehicles.

Oh hey, on the subject of J-Drama... have you ever seen Shopping Hero? We watched it on TV some years ago. It was pretty good! Or so we believed....

Assassin's Creed is my new addiction I think. I can't stop killing (guards, soldiers, etc)! Wow, that sounds so incredibly wrong. But no, the guards I used to sneak around to kill, now I just run up and assassinate 'em. No sneaking, no anything else.

I still suck at Guitar Hero... lol. My career as a rock star ends as soon as Easy mode ends. Beyond that is just impossible for me. lol
